Domestic Transportations

Kansai International Airport

Take a Japan Railway (JR) train (Haruka) from Kansai International Airport to Shin Osaka. From Shin Osaka station, JR Shinkansen (bullet train) will take you to Okayama station. You’ll arrive at Kurashiki railway station by a 18-min ride of local JR train (Sanyo Honsen Line) from Okayama sta (Platform 1 or 2). Totally, it takes about 2 hours from Kansai International Airport to Kurashiki.

Five direct limousine bus services per day are available from Kansai International Airport to Okayama station. Take a local train (JR Sanyo Honsen Line) from Okayama sta. (Platform 1 or 2) to Kurashiki sta.

Narita International Airport

By train

Take a JR train, Narita Express, to JR Tokyo station. JR Shinkansen (bullet train) will take you from Tokyo sta. to JR Okayama sta. Take a local train (JR Sanyo Honsen Line) from Okayama sta. (Platform 1 or 2) to Kurashiki sta. It takes about 6 hours from Narita International Airport to Kurashiki.

By flight

Frequent limousine bus services will take you from Narita International Airport to Tokyo Haneda Airport located at central Tokyo. You may fly to Okayama Airport from Haneda (ten flights a day from Haneda Airport to Okayama Airport)

Chubu Centrair International Airport

A Meitetsu train takes you to JR Nagoya station. You may take a ride of JR Shinkansen at JR Nagoya sta and take off at Okayama station. Take a local train (JR Sanyo Honsen Line) from Okayama sta. to Kurashiki sta.

Okayama Airport to Kurashiki

In case you miss the bus from Okayama Airport to Kurashiki, you can take a shuttle bus from the Airport to Okayama Station and then transfer to a local train to Kurashiki.
